Training the Downunder Way

I've been using Clinton Anderson's Downunder Horsemanship training methods for a couple of years now, and am really pleased with the results. They are easy to understand and apply, and I find that Khavele responds very well to them.

Lungeing For Respect:

 

 Backing up--Wiggle, Wave, Walk, and Whack:

 Disengaging the hindquarters. I'll take a moment here to point out that I am out of position in the photo on the left. I should be behind the drive line and I'm not, hence Val's annoyed expression.
